About Victor Brox and this website
Victor Brox - who's that guy? That exactly was my first thought when in 1996 Sebastian, the singer in our band at that time, told me during a rehearsal session about the guy who at that time was a guest at his parents' house for some days.
Only a few days later I had the great pleasure to meet one of greatest blues musicians alive. We invited him to one of our next concerts as a special guest, he agreed and this gig was great. He started playing his first set alone, afterwards we joined him on stage. The crowd really went crazy about this great bluesman.
This being a wonderful experience for both us and him, Victor came back again in 1997 and 1999 for some more concerts here with us. Needless to say: Victor was and in some way still is a big influence for us.
Unfortunately I haven't had too much contact to him since then. One reason might be that he's living quite isolated in the south of france, not having internet access or even telephone...
Unfortunately there isnt't too much about Victor to be found on the web, so I decided to put all the stuff I have about him online: some scanned documents (articles, info leaflets, posters etc.) and 2 live-recordings which I recorded during one of our last gigs together in late 1999. That's him alone singing and playing the piano. Listen & enjoy!
